- Easy Money, Baby! (Experience & Tips with Pics!)
...My Promoter Experience...

Introduction
I've been playing ToP for more than a month now. I have a level 41 Crusader and a level 60 Voyager in the Black Sea server. Time management is a big problem for me recently. I need to balance my time with my family, school, religion and playing ToP. Because of my busy schedule in school (I'm a 3rd year nursing student), I just cant get any stronger and lots of money to get good equipments (I've been drooling over an angel wing). That's when I read about the IGG Promoter System.
Content

I registered to be a promoter a few days ago because I do not have a credit card and my parents don't want to give me money to buy ingame items because they said they'd use it to buy me books for school or to pay it for my tuition fees. I can't beg them to give me money because we are not a very well to do family and our money is just enough for our daily expenses and debts.

I've known quite a number of people over the internet but I am still trying to catch them online so I could recruit them. So far I've only recruited more or less 10 people but even before the IGG Promoter System started, I was already recruiting a lot of my friends and batchmates in school and in the neighborhood.
1st Experience
For my first experience in recruiting players, it was quite embarassing. I am not a very loud person and I don't speak to people often, unless they are really close to me. But because I really want to get points, I kinda swallowed my pride. I started chatting over the Yahoo Messenger to some of my buddies and asked them if they play online games and if they would like to try playing Tales of Pirates Online or if they don't like it, they could try Myth War or Voyage Century. I even posted my link through my status message so that everyone could see and simply click it.

2nd Experience
After posting my link on my status message and chatting to some friends, it's time for Friendster. I've been a member of Friendster since I was in high school and I have a lot of friends already. Some of them I know and some otherwise. What I did was I posted to the bulletin board about the Tales of Pirates and how a great game it is. I received some negative feedbacks and there was even one who said "stop posting stupid things". But there were still some who were very inquisitive and seemed interested so I just gave them the link. I also added to my Friendster webpage my banner link and also typed in my shout out the link. Again, plenty commented about the "stupidity" and yet again, more commented positively and was interested.

3rd Experience
This experience was a bit schemy and evil but it really works. When I was in high school until 2nd year college, I really enjoyed playing in computer shops since we didn't have an internet connection at home that time. I was a FlyFF player then but I had to quit because of my stuides and I didn't download the game on my pc because it has a big memory requirement. Ok, so just last week, I was with my cousins playing DotA in Smack Down (a computer shop near our school) and so I opened the ToP website, copy and pasted my link to the internet properties (internet settings) and made my link as the homepage. Now, evertime a player opens the Internet Webpage, he/she is directed to my link page. They would definitely be interested in the game and play it once they see it! Moments later, an ex-guildmate from pRO in that shop saw what I did and asked what's happening. I told him everything so he talked to the owner of the shop (who is also a friend of mine) to give the game a try. My cousins told me the other day that that shop now has the game installed on their computers.

4th Experience
This happened last Saturday after our duty in the hospital. I went home at 6 o'clock in the morning and I was very tired so I bathed, brushed my teeth, changed my clothes and was ready for bed but my mom was already up to fix breakfast for my younger brother and she was watching a morning show. The show had a guest band and they were promoting their album. An idea suddenly came to my mind. There were a lot of people whom I recruited had difficulty downloading the game from the internet. Most of them were used to buying or borrowing a cd of the game such as Ragnarok, FlyFF and Audition. A lot gave up Tales of Pirates without even playing it because they said it was complicated. So when I thought of that, I burned cd's. I also printed screen shots and included the requirements at the back and distributed it to my friends. My link of course was included and could be easily clicked by them.

Other Experiences
My other experiences were being chased by a dog from the other block while I was promoting to a boy and showing him pictures (I was on a bicycle so the dog didn't get me), being called a noob and a loser by a group of emo's, being shouted at by a mom for teaching her child "bullsh*t" and there are others I need not mention. Thank you so much for reading! XD
! Tips !
X do networking! (befriend as many people as you can especially rich guys!)
X distribute printouts of IGG games (in the classroom, school campus, neighborhood, etc!)
X ask your former guildmates from other games to join you! (if they are game addicts, better!)
X make blogs and add screenshots on your webpages! (it would add more excitement for the readers!)
X post in bulletin boards! (explain how IGG games made you enjoy life even better!)
X show and tell about the game! (your bestfriend, classmates, friends, neighbors & family members)
X promise them you will plvl them or give them some items! (you must keep your promises!)
X do not be ashamed! (rewards are at stake here!)
X ask computer shops if they have IGG games! (they'll install it the next day, for their own profit!)
X ask people who don't want to play to help you out and spread your links!
X do not be bothered by negative responses! (think of it as a monster who gives good experience!)
X timing is everything! (Saturdays and Sundays are "Freetime" days! No classes!)
X believe in yourself! (you can do this! you are the best promoter!)
X and last but most importantly, have faith! pray very, very, very hard! (for someone to click your
link, play the game and buy items from the item mall!)
